Koh Samui competes with Phuket Island as the most popular Thailand seaside resort. On the other hand this ideal island reasonably differs from the other ones by its natural simplicity of remote tropical place. Here one can find less entertainment than in Phuket Island, solitary beaches with fine as powder sand and deserted diminutive bays. Only the rustle of coconut palms and lapping of waves on the snow-white beaches break the silence. This is the place where one can leave all the problems behind and carelessly relax under the Sun. This tiny island (only 247 sq.km) situated in 710 km to the South of Bangkok is called a diamond of Siam Gulf. The high season in Samui is from December till June as well as August and September. Main part of precipitations accounts for July, October and November. These are the months when the weather and climate are not good enough for spending vacation in Samui.
